Who you are
- Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field
- At least 1+ year working with generative AI models
- Work or academic experience in AI, machine learning, and deep learning technologies
- Work or academic experience in generic programming languages such as Python or Golang
- Hands-on experience with generative AI technologies, including prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), fine-tuning, and evaluation of large language model applications
- Proficiency in Python programming and version control
- Strong understanding of the latest AI trends and practices to maintain state-of-the-art solutions

- Kiddom is seeking a highly qualified AI Researcher who will play a pivotal role in pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with AI in education
- Your work will assist teachers by personalizing their teaching experience and improving student outcomes
- This role combines technical excellence with an opportunity to make a tangible impact on the lives of educators and students nationwide
- Track and analyze emerging AI systems, focusing on applications and environments related to security and safety
- Develop a platform for AI data training, fine tuning, evaluation and other AI related needs
- Work on foundational models with built in security principles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of researchers and engineers to translate research ideas into product features. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to our overall machine learning culture as an early member of the team
Our take
Digital education has become an increasing reality in recent years. Whilst services such as Zoom have provided platforms for remote teaching, the minimal functionality of such services has outlined the lack of digital engagement tools that classrooms require.
Kiddom develops a collaborative learning platform for K-12 schooling that aims to provide integrated solutions to not only remote teaching but also in-person school and homework assignments. The platform allows teachers to assign tasks and to collaborate with students on them, whilst the software gathers data to provide insights on student engagement and performance.
The startup currently provides its services to individual teachers for free, but solutions for inter-institutional curriculums come at an annual subscription fee. Kiddom’s approach aims to provide solutions and fill the gap between remote and in-school teaching, at the same time as integrating student analytics to optimize and personalize the way students are educated.
