Who you are

  • 5+ years of sales experience in financial services with a proven track record in B2B sales
  • Experience prospecting and selling to the US market
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to engage senior executives and stakeholders with confidence and credibility
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and highly organized with excellent time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team-first mentality
  • High level of business integrity and professionalism
  • Experience with Salesforce (a plus)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced certifications such as MA, CAIA, or CFA preferred

What the job involves

  • As an Account Executive, you’ll execute a strategic sales plan for your territory, delivering our industry-leading Governance Research and Voting solutions to top-tier asset managers and institutional clients.
  • You'll have the support of dedicated business development representatives and subject matter experts to help you achieve success
  • Drive Growth: Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets across recurring, one-time, and renewal business
  • Cultivate Client Relationships: Build deep, consultative relationships with institutional clients to drive retention and uncover new cross-sell and upsell opportunities
  • Lead the Sales Process: Own the full sales cycle— from prospecting and lead generation to product demos, negotiations, and closing deals
  • Collaborate for Success: Work closely with business development reps to target and engage new prospects, while partnering with internal teams to deliver best-in-class solutions
  • Market Insights: Provide client feedback to business leads to inform future product development and strategic initiatives
  • Client-Centric Approach: Ensure top-notch client support by working across internal teams, from client success to research and product divisions

Our take

STOXX, previously Qontigo, was created by capital market giants Deutsche Börse Group in 2019 after its acquisition of stock market indexes STOXX and DAX, as well as portfolio construction and risk analytics company Axioma.

By combining index intelligence with Axioma’s risk analytics, the company’s purpose is to provide hedge fund, wealth, and asset managers with the tools to navigate a quickly shifting marketplace. Although STOXX keeps its customer base under wraps, it claims to work with some of the world’s largest asset management companies and financial institutions.

Considering that Deutsche Börse Group operates the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, it’s no surprise that STOXX is operating in such elite circles.
