- Alethea is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Manager, AI Engineering to lead our growing AI team
- In this role, you will be responsible for setting the vision and strategy for AI across the organization, with a particular focus on developing and deploying machine learning solutions that drive revenue growth
- You will lead a team of talented data scientists and machine learning engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration
- Lead the Development and Execution: Define the roadmap for AI initiatives, aligning with the overall business goals and priorities
- Hands-On Technical Contribution: Remain actively involved in technical work, contributing to code reviews, architecture design, and troubleshooting complex data issues. This hands-on approach will help you stay connected to the team's day-to-day challenges and provide valuable technical leadership
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models: Guide the team in building and deploying high-quality models that solve real-world problems and deliver measurable business value
- Drive the creation of AI-powered products: Lead the development of innovative AI products and features that generate revenue and enhance customer experiences
- Build and manage a high-performing AI team: Recruit, mentor, and develop a team of data scientists and machine learning engineers
- Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration: Encourage experimentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning within the team
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML: Continuously evaluate new technologies and techniques to maintain a competitive edge
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of AI solutions
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders: Clearly articulate the value and impact of AI initiatives to both technical and non-technical audiences
Our take
The rise of online disinformation, misinformation and manipulation campaigns is a growing and concerning problem, and one that can be difficult to combat. Alethea hopes to make this easier for organizations with its Artemis platform, which was built to monitor, detect, assess and mitigate disinformation attacks.
Using billions of data points, the platform leverages multichannel analysis to detect risks and deal with them before any damage is done. By deciphering which risks pose a real threat, and which can be ignored, it empowers cybersecurity teams to focus their efforts in the right places.
Through this approach, users can proactively defend themselves against the weaponization of information. As this becomes a more prominent problem, Alethea has no shortage of potential clientele, while recent funding will enable it to grow its teams and further enhance the platform to cope with changing threats.
