Senior Commercial Counsel, Lambda

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school and membership in at least one U.S. state bar
• 6-10+ years of legal experience, with at least 3 years in-house (ideally in the technology, cloud infrastructure, or SaaS sector)
• Extensive experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial transactions on the buy-side and sell-side
• Growth mindset, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple concurrent projects and tasks to completion within the required time frame
• Interest in growing your impact and responsibilities over time
• Team mentality with the flexibility to address unique issues in real-time and the awareness to know when to bring in others

Desirable

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of high-value commercial agreements including customer contracts, data center service provider agreements, partner and reseller agreements, distributor arrangements, and marketing partnerships
• Partner with the AGC to own and manage enterprise deal negotiations
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance teams to enable deals while ensuring appropriate legal risk management
• Advise on contract structure and associated risks, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and legal requirements
• Use legal technology and automation tools to streamline contracting processes, compliance tracking, and knowledge management
• Identify and own improvements to the team’s operations, templates, and playbooks
• Operate independently and provide practical, decisive guidance to our business teams that balances business objectives with legal risk
