Who you are
- BA/BS degree or 4+ years of administrative support experience
- Strong, professional presence and presentation; Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong skill set working with office applications including Outlook, Google Drive, Google Slides, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Zoom
- Ability to coordinate small/medium/large events with little direction
- High energy, positive attitude, and flexibility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to work independently with general direction and guidance
- Ability to put yourself in the executive’s shoes and manage the schedule in a way promotes the most effective use of time
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask/prioritize work
- Ability to handle highly sensitive information with discretion, sound judgment, confidentiality, and the utmost integrity

- Our Emerging Enterprise NN Sales organization is growing, and we are looking for a versatile Senior Administrative Assistant to support the AVP and RVP of both the Emerging and Enterprise business
- Workday is looking for a Senior Administrative Assistant to support our dynamic sales leaders
- In this role, you will support a Area Vice President and Regional Vice President of Sales in North America
- We are looking for a well-organized and motivated individual with high energy and a proactive attitude to provide administrative and organizational communications support
- Manage, prioritize, and anticipate 1-4 executive's day-to-day schedule, confirm meetings, enter expenses, and attend to other matters as needed
- Book domestic and international travel arrangements (air, hotel, ground travel) including complex planning of meeting agendas and logistics, assist with meeting coordination, and create detailed itineraries for executive travel. Problem solves non-routine travel issues and keen awareness of unique time zones and travel complexities
- Plan and coordinate department events as they arise, including the support of all meeting details (preparing agendas, preparing presentations, ordering meals, securing space, and inviting attendees)
- Prepare internal and external communications and presentations
- Process expense reports in Workday and ensure spend is within budget
- Interact and communicate with employees at all levels and across the organization, including other Workday executives, and outside vendors
- Proactive and problem solver - takes action with little/no direction, acts on behalf of the Executive. Anticipates what's upcoming and helps executives stay ahead

The company uses a single database for workforce management and financial management to offer integration and optimize business intelligence across companies. It has added to the packages and tools it offers over the years, providing analytic options that allow companies to combine third-party data with information collected by Workday.
Workday has acquired and paired up with many other companies to keep expanding its offering. Though it faced a tough global market in 2023 and has shed some of its headcount, Workday has seen a 6.5% gain in value in the first quarter of 2024. It is now focusing on growth and developing the AI capabilities of its platform. .
