What the job involves

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our engineering team
In this role, you will work at the forefront of LLMs and AI agents to transform the way enterprises do outbound sales and generate pipeline
You will have the opportunity to help scale our existing products and build new products alongside our customers
As a senior member of the team, you'll work closely with the engineering leadership team to shape technical and product vision
Build and maintain scalable, high-performance applications across the full stack
Lead the design and implementation of new features in our core platform
Collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineering teams to deliver impactful solutions
Architect and develop front-end components using React and TypeScript
Work on back-end services and APIs with Node.js and Python
Mentor and guide junior engineers in best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles
Own the end-to-end delivery of features, from ideation to production
Continuously improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of our applications
Contribute to the company’s technical roadmap, setting standards for code quality and development processes
Help define and evolve the team’s engineering culture

Our take

For many businesses, the rise in hybrid and remote working has lessened team building and collaboration within their teams. Nooks was founded in 2020, initially as a virtual space for sales teams to collaborate and work in real-time, and to feel like they're working in the same room as their colleagues.

Nooks evolved from that social workflow premise and developed an AI dialer to automate manual tasks for sales teams. It also has a "Call Analytics" tool for sales teams to transcribe, analyse and improve upon their calls. Meanwhile, its virtual salesfloor still makes collaborating, team building and training easier for virtual teams.

While Nooks is up against large workflow management platforms such as Slack, its tight focus on sales teams lets it stand out. This speciality has led to several rounds of funding for Nooks, two of which came in 2024 off the back of massive momentum and growth for the company.
