Who you are
- 3+ years of experience managing a high-performing team of 5+ Account Executives, ideally in SaaS
- A track record of leading teams to consistent overachievement in new business sales
- Strong coaching capability in value selling across a mix of experience levelsConfidence operating in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
- Clear, credible communication with both sales teams and senior stakeholders
- Comfort owning forecast accuracy and pipeline discipline
- Ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deals alongside your team
- A leadership style that balances high standards with trust, clarity and support

What the job involves
- We’re looking for a high-impact Senior Sales Manager to lead one of Fivetran’s most established and consistently top-performing Commercial teams in EMEA. This is a rare opportunity to inherit a team of experienced Account Executives and emerging talent who are already delivering strong results. Your role is not to “fix”, it’s to amplify.
- You’ll bring clarity, structure and a coaching-first approach to help the team scale to its next level of performance. You’ll play a visible leadership role within the EMEA Commercial organisation, working closely with cross-functional partners and helping shape how we grow in the region
- This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Dublin and reports to the Director of Commercial Sales, EMEA
- Lead and develop a team of New Business Commercial Account Executives focused on outbound-led new business growth
- Build a culture of high ownership, strong execution and continuous improvement
- Coach both tenured and newer reps to consistently perform at a high level and progress in their careers
- Maintain strong oversight of pipeline, deal strategy and forecasting across the team
- Model and reinforce an effective outbound sales motion, including prospecting discipline and territory planning
- Partner closely with Marketing, Sales Development, Solutions Engineering, Alliances, and Customer Success
- Use data and insight to guide coaching conversations and improve sales effectiveness
- Hire, onboard and ramp new Account Executives as the team grows
- Represent Commercial Sales within EMEA leadership forums and contribute to regional strategy
