Who you are

The Employee is expected to work during normal business hours for their time zone and maintain a consistent weekly schedule
The Employee must frequently communicate through live conference calls or online meetings. Attendance with on camera video is mandatory
The Employee must be able to work independently and manage their own priorities
Basic Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, sumifs, and xlookups
Experience with NetSuite or a similar system preferred

What the job involves

As a Staff Accountant, you will have important interactions with our customers, vendors, and employees
You will perform critical functions that others rely on
You will also have the ability to expand your knowledge and career as Signifyd expands and faces more complex accounting issues
This role will report to our Accounting Manager
The expectation is 15-25 hours per week
You'll onboard new customers
Invoice customers
Collections
Record incoming cash receipts
Send statements to customers
Reconcile customer accounts
Reconcile general ledger accounts
Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process to help ensure the Company’s financial statements are accurate and timely
Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner
Perform other accounting duties as assigned
The Employee must frequently communicate with cross-functional coworkers using the company’s standard platforms (email, Slack, or JIRA)
