Role
Who you are
- The successful candidate will have 2 – 5 years Credit Control experience, and be used to dealing with a high volume of accounts
- The ability to work quickly and accurately
- Excellent customer service skills (both over the phone and face to face)
- The ability to multitask and work in a busy environment
- The ability to work with initiative to actively obtain the information required
- Excellent Excel skills, including use of Pivot tables, V Lookups etc
- Excellent all-round administration skills
- Very strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to appropriately interact our very varied customer base
What the job involves
- Reporting directly to the Director of Collections, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our global client base across various regions in the effective management of our Credit Control Department
- As a Senior Analyst within the Collections team your primary focus will be to ensure timely collection of payments, optimizing cash flow and minimizing outstanding debts.
- You will primarily be focused on clients in the Americas region, with occasional assistance to colleagues in the EMEA and APAC regions
- Our collections team also works closely with commercial teams to gain insight into client requirements and facilitate appropriate payment methods.
- You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance existing processes and foster long-term partnerships with clients
- Chasing of overdue accounts and invoices by telephone, and email
- Ensuring all unallocated payments are accounted for and reconciled
- Dealing with customer invoice queries and liaising with staff members to settle queries in a timely manner
- Maintaining and updating account information
- Account Reconciliations
- KPI`s - Ensure Monthly Cash Collection targets are met
- Provide client data both internally and externally upon request
- Discuss and report any problematic accounts to the Head of Collections in a timely manner
- Maintain effective communication between customers and colleagues at all times to ensure an efficient and smooth service and customer satisfaction
- Support any relevant audit requests, as and when required
