Who you are
- Basic understanding of Windows Systems (Client and Server)
- Experience supporting user hardware and peripherals; familiarity with gaming or high-performance workstation environments is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- Professional level of communication in English
Desirable
- Experience with Linux systems (desktop or server)
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Python

What the job involves
- Original Sin 2 is looking for an IT Systems Administrator Intern to join the team and help us in crafting the high calibre games our fans have come to expect
- Monitor server health and system performance to ensure uptime and reliability for critical building systems
- Assist with routine server maintenance, including patching, updates and backups, with a focus on minimising disruptions to critical operations
- Support the administration of Windows servers and related applications under guidance from senior engineers
- Perform general technical troubleshooting and give consultation to development teams
- Ability to support incident discussion and resolution
- Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, changes, and standard operating procedures
- Participate in incident response and emergency procedures related to studio building management systems
- Collaborate with the international IT team on system updates, testing, and deployments
- Assist with user onboarding and offboarding, ensuring proper access and account setup
- Provide technical support for users in all studio locations
- Help manage IT inventory and asset tracking

And Belgian developer Larian Studios has firmly positioned itself at the forefront of that space. Built by and for passionate RPG players, the studio has developed a reputation for prioritising depth, player agency and long-term quality over rapid production cycles.
That philosophy reached its commercial and critical peak with Baldur's Gate III in 2023, a landmark release for the company that delivered hundreds of hours of narrative gameplay and generated $249M in pre-tax profit in 2024, cementing Larian's place among the industry's elite.
Since then, the studio confirmed its not developing Baldur's Gate 4 and has instead shifted resources toward the next evolution of its flagship fantasy series, Divinity. Post-launch support for Baldur's Gate III has continued and additional patches and quality-of-life improvements have been added, helping sustain a thriving modding community and long-term player engagement.
So, now the company has turned its focus to Divinity, announcing at The Game Awards 2025 that there will be a new entry to the franchise. Early commentary suggests the project will retain the studio's hallmark turn-based systems while pushing technical and narrative boundaries further.
