What the job involves

Define, design, and implement high-performing, reliable solutions for distributed systems with high throughput using a variety of third-party and eBay internal libraries and frameworks
Collaborate closely with colleagues to develop innovative solutions that meet functional and non-functional standards and expectations. Build highly available, scalable RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems
Analyze, design, and develop test-automation suites for systems
Produce clear and well-documented design documents and participate in design and code reviews. Build, test, and deploy code continuously
Share engineering support, release, and on-call responsibilities
40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m
