Staff Software Engineer, Easypost

• O 10+ years of software development experience, or equivalent related work experience, with a proven track record of delivering complex, large-scale projects
• O Extensive full-stack development experience, with proficiency in multiple programming languages and a strong desire to learn and improve your craft as a software engineer
• O Experience building and maintaining scalable, reliable services, and distributed systems
• O Expertise with databases, ideally relational databases and schema design
• O Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively translate complex information to both technical and non-technical collaborators

• EasyPost is seeking an experienced and skilled Staff Software Engineer to join our growing eCommerce product engineering team
• This team is responsible for developing new products and services within the eCommerce space to leverage EasyPost's world-class shipping products
• O Lead and influence the long-term technical vision and roadmap in collaboration with senior leadership and product management
• O Design and spearhead complex, high-impact changes to eCommerce integration systems, focusing on scalability, reliability, and maintainability
• O Provide mentorship to engineers, actively participate in product and feature design, and contribute to code reviews
• O Act as a subject matter expert for highly complex features, offering technical leadership across teams and projects within the organization, removing obstacles to team progress, and incorporating diverse perspectives in decision-making
