Role
Who you are
- 3+ years of experience in brand content creation with either a proven case study of brand building OR a clearly demonstrated knack for breakthrough social storytelling
- A strong passion for fitness and technology (VR/AR space is a bonus)
- Deep understanding of social best practices (and thoughts for how to break them)
- Highly organized, self-sufficient, and resourceful by nature
- Data-driven approach, with experience defining and analyzing key metrics
What the job involves
- Reports To: Chief Marketing Officer
- We’re hiring a Social Content Producer to stand up a hot-off-the-press brand strategy through a completely revamped social media presence
- We're on a mission to build connections with people who want to be healthy but hate the whole traditional fitness scene and see themselves as a misfit
- Social is a priority channel for us to break through, and as such you'll help develop the social voice of our brand while building and nurturing our communities
- We need someone who understands the current fitness landscape, but is motivated to shake it all up
- 1. Strategy driver: Craft and experiment with social-first strategies that help develop and amplify the brand voice across existing and new platforms. Bring a strong POV of where to prioritize and what to avoid all together with our target audience at the forefront of your mind
- 2. Be the trendsetter: Follow the trends, but set out to lead the pack. Cook up high-quality, innovative, native content that puts FitXR on the map. Convince us to take calculated risks and build high trust by proving it can work
- 3. Community Catalyst: Create strategies to grow and nurture our existing community while attracting new users who vibe with our brand's mission
- 4. Production Owner: Run the social creative pipeline, which may often only include yourself. Bring or build a rolodex of creators that set you up for success

- Target Audience: Busy working parents, 35-45 years old who hate working out, but want to be healthy. Their #1 goal is weight loss, but they dread endless hours of Cardio and feel like a complete misfit at the gym. Peloton makes them Cringe. Their most common workout is an evening walk with the dog Around the neighborhood
- Brand Promise: The most fun you’ll ever have during a killer workout
- Deliverable: Video format, designed for the channel of your choice
- 4-5 sentence rationale for why it will break through

- Our interview process takes place on Google Hangouts and tends to consist of the following stages:
- Initial screen with the talent team
- Hiring Manager / technical interview
- Collaborative task stage

FitXR is rewriting the rules of fitness through immersive technologies. Using VR, it offers 5 studios, with hundreds of high energy classes on demand and choreographed by industry-leading fitness experts.
FitXR has successfully set itself apart in the space, becoming known for its engaging content and even referred to as the "most intense workout". This suggests they have bought users the same type of workout they would get in the gym, but in the Metaverse.
There has been a sharp rise in interest to use VR for fitness, and FitXR are well set to succeed in this growing market. To help attract new users (including those brand new to fitness), the company has partnered with the renowned Dr Brendon Stubbs, PhD - one of the world's leading exercise researchers.
