Who you are

- You’re fluent in English - communicate clearly and with empathy
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field; advanced degree or legal qualification is a plus
- You bring 10+ years of experience in HR roles, ideally in a scaleup or international environment
- Strong understanding of labor law, employment regulations, and compliance topics
- You’re hands-on, pragmatic, and solutions-focused – you love building processes that work in real life
- Experience leading teams or stepping into a strategic business partner role
- Skilled in conflict resolution and navigating sensitive topics with discretion and integrity
- You understand the balance between legal frameworks and a people-first culture
- You’re tech-savvy and comfortable using HR tools to simplify workflows
- A strategic thinker with a heart for people and a head for detail
Desirable
- Experience with international HR and legal matters, including cross-border hiring processes
- Knowledge of Employer of Record models (e.g. Deel) to support global workforce expansion
- Proficient in using modern HR tools such as Ashby and CultureAmp to streamline people operations
- Strong interest in employment law and internal legal topics like NDAs and intellectual property
- Passionate about driving practical DEI initiatives and fostering a strong, inclusive workplace culture
What the job involves
- As Head of HR & Legal, you’ll be at the heart of our culture and lead all things people and legal – from building a great employee experience to ensuring we stay aligned with employment laws and regulations
- You’ll work closely with the leadership team, serve as a sparring partner on strategic topics, and help shape a work environment where everyone can thrive
- Take full ownership of our HR functions with coverage of HR legal topics on the side – and help us build smart, scalable structures that grow with the company
- Act as a strategic partner in developing effective and future-proof people policies and frameworks (such as levelling frameworks, global compensation and benefits planning, and performance management)
- Support and empower our small but passionate HR team, fostering growth, knowledge-sharing, and best practices; with the goal to grow the team as the company grows
- Collaborate closely with the leadership team to shape and implement a people strategy aligned with our business goals
- Ensure we stay compliant with employment law and regulations – with hands-on support from external legal partners where needed
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle – from hiring and onboarding to development, retention, and offboarding
- Be the go-to person for team-wide HR questions, offering clarity and practical solutions
- Own and continuously improve our HR policies, employment contracts, and organizational frameworks
- Lead cultural and people-driven initiatives that strengthen trust, transparency, and inclusion
- Handle sensitive employee relations topics with care, professionalism, and discretion

RoomPriceGenie's solution simplifies this process by providing an automated pricing system that leverages data analysis to optimise rates. By analysing data from up to 500 nearby properties, it allows hotel managers, even those without prior experience in price management systems, to make informed decisions and maximise revenue.
