Role
Who you are
- Currently located in a CST or EST state, having proven experience collaborating with global teams across multiple time zones
- 7+ years of experience in consumer product and interaction design, including building and shipping consumer tech products, defining user experiences, and conducting user research (interviews, surveys, usability testing), combined with 3+ years driving strategic product thinking and alignment with product goals
- 5+ years of expertise in visual design (typography, UI, illustration, animation, layout, iconography)
- 5+ years of experience working on mobile products (iOS/Android)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent professional experience
- An outstanding portfolio showcasing clarity and simplicity of user experiences with excellent visual design skills, with amazing illustration capabilities
- Identifying opportunities, and making decisions based on the impact to users and the company
- Highly organized with proven high-quality documentation output with expert level Figma skills
- Experience working and collaborating with diverse teams in a dynamic, rapid-growth environment
- Ability to work independently and drive initiatives forward in a remote work setting
- Experience in the digital health industry is an advantage
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer who is passionate about saving lives, doing something meaningful, and is driven in their craft
- You should balance both creativity and the capabilities required to take on the challenge of driving health innovation while upholding a simple, holistic user journey
- Our Senior Product Designer will play a key role within our team of experienced, fast-moving, and highly talented designers, content writers, and UX researcher
- With our talented and powerful team, we deliver strong UX that has a huge impact on people's health
- Design user experiences across digital and physical touchpoints that are simple, elegant, and rooted in user-centered design
- Lead the process from concept to launch, crafting intuitive journeys across online and offline interactions
- Collaborate with product and marketing designers to ensure a cohesive and consistent experience
- Conduct user research and support discovery to uncover real needs and opportunities
- Validate design decisions with data, experimentation, and user testing
- Work with Product Managers, Engineers, and Data Scientists to define and deliver impactful, user-focused solutions
- Drive innovation by designing for advanced AI experiences and shaping solutions that integrate software with connected hardware to create seamless user journeys

Hello Heart is a medical tech company that helps its users achieve lifestyle changes that will reduce their risk of heart disease, using artificial intelligence, behavioral science, a digital coaching app and connected monitoring tools to achieve this
Hello Heart is offered as a service to individuals via its app and to employers and health insurance who can offer it as a perk to their employees or customers. While other solutions exist, such as a plethora of health-related, gamified apps and coaching services, Hello Heart is somewhat unique with its membership of the American Heart Association's Innovator's Network, giving its solution a great deal of credibility compared to its rivals. Indeed, Hello Heart drives down health care costs by almost $2,000 a year per user, which has led to it being offered as a perk by companies such as Delta Airlines and Northwestern Mutual.
The company has raised a significant amount of funding, most recently in 2022 which saw it closing a Series D round. It is currently focusing on R&D efforts to improve the AI underpinning its technology, allowing it to add new and more thorough health tracking and coaching capabilities. With a popular and effective solution to a growing problem, Hello Heart is well poised to continue its run of success.
