Role
Who you are
- 3+ years of SaaS or account management experience
- An outstanding track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets in direct sales, customer success, and/or sales development (SDR/BDR)
- Proven top performer in a quota-carrying sales role
Desirable
- Training in “solution”, “customer-centric” or “challenger” selling
- Demonstrated experience creating opportunities
- Demonstrated experience identifying key decision makers and building relationships and champions
- Intellectual curiosity & growth mindset
- Understanding of customer and employee experience management
- Proven success in high-paced environments managing multiple projects simultaneously
What the job involves
- As an Emerging Enterprise Account Executive you will primarily target new business opportunities within the assigned install base in your territory
- Research target accounts and develop prospecting campaigns
- Dive deep in understanding their business and the potential for business alignment
- Go high and wide within enterprise organizations to understand the full scope of opportunity
- Own the entire customer journey with a deep understanding of account needs and growth trajectory
- Liaise between Medallia ecosystem and client stakeholders to nurture account health and drive towards renewals and growth opportunities
- Engage with the sales ecosystem and Medallia Partners in support of sales opportunities
- Understand each Medallia product to effectively drive a high-level product demonstration
- Participate in internal team meetings to collaborate with the supporting ecosystem on opportunities, resolve customer issues, share best practices, and work with cross-functional teams
- Successfully manage both SMB accounts as well as low ACV accounts with a transactional management style
