What the job involves
- As our Workplace Operations Specialist, you will be the driving force behind daily operations at our Chicago office and a key partner on team workplace initiatives. You’ll support onsite events, team meetups, vendor partnerships, employee experience, and operational logistics to ensure our people can work confidently and comfortably onsite
- This role is full-time, exempt, and reports to the Director, Workplace Experience & Operations
- Lead day-to-day workplace operations in Chicago, making our office a place our coworkers love to work and guests love to visit. Ensure the office operates smoothly and proactively
- Serve as primary onsite workplace point of contact, including visitor experience and physical security oversight
- Manage communications in a timely and professional fashion
- Plan and support workplace programs that enhance engagement (ex. events, team meetups, travel, meals, amenities, and culture)
- Manage vendor relationships and liaise with property management, building security, and cleaning staff
- Oversee management of the office facility, including coordinating preventive maintenance and repair projects as needed
- Manage workplace inventory and optimize spend to ensure consistent office readiness (supplies, snacks, amenities)
- Partner with cross-functional teams on workplace needs and process improvements
- Create and/or enable workplace processes that are scalable and continuously improving
- Provide additional support to other satellite offices as needed

Leading mobile shopping and loyalty platform Fetch has seen explosive success in recent years. Its concept is simple: users receive spendable points in exchange for scans of their shopping receipts.
The app has tens of millions of daily active users with even more downloads, and has seen impressive growth, having now reached 'unicorn' status twice over. This should come as no surprise. Brand reinforcement is crucial to customer retention and acquisition - but it is harder than ever, with the fragmentation of choice on the market and the declining efficacy of marketing. So material loyalty benefits are likely to prove a crucial tool in creating and leveraging a strong customer base.
Whilst Fetch faces competition from similar receipt-scan rewards platforms like ReceiptPal and Ibotta, it grew into a profitable company in late 2023. And its using its most recent Morgan Stanley-backed funding to aggressively add brand partners at a competitive pace and onboard staff at a level that promises strong continued growth.
