Senior Product Designer, Articulate

• 8–10 years of product design experience, including ownership of end-to-end solutions in modern SaaS environments
• A strong portfolio demonstrating design leadership across complex, multi-state flows or systems
• High level of expertise in Figma and a solid understanding of responsive design and design systems
• Fluency in user-centered design principles, usability heuristics, and rapid prototyping techniques
• Experience working in empowered product teams (tripods or trios) and driving outcomes through collaboration
• Excellent storytelling and communication skills, bringing others along in your thinking

• As a Sr Product Designer II, you are a strategic, cross-functional leader and usability owner within your product’s tripod. You bring product thinking, sharp design craft, and deep user empathy to your work, helping your team move from discovery to outcomes. You co-lead with your tripod product discovery, shape direction in ambiguous spaces, and ensure we ship learning-focused, trustworthy experiences from early access through general availability

• Usability Ownership:
• Lead usability across your tripod by framing problems, surfacing assumptions, and co-creating solutions informed by data and user insights
• Set and uphold the usability bar from early access to GA, ensuring iterative work feels trustworthy, complete, and customer-ready
• Balance speed and quality while clearly articulating tradeoffs and validating design decisions with lightweight testing
• Apply deep product knowledge and business context to make strategic design decisions that prioritize user success
• Participate in customer discovery sessions and serve as the expert on customer needs within an area
• Design Execution:
• Deliver detailed design specs with full states and interactions, leveraging and contributing to the design system
• Turn complexity into simplicity by designing intuitive flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes
• Track design decisions and rationale; share proactively to build shared understanding across teams
• Identify, test, and scale new methods, tools, or workflows to improve design and development efficiency across products and teams
• Lead Design QA in collaboration with Eng and QA partners, ensuring usability, consistency, and polish are upheld before launch
• Collaboration & Tripod Leadership:
• Serve as a trusted partner in your product tripod, owning usability and helping shape roadmap priorities, scope decisions, and product bets
• Own the prioritization and scoping of design initiatives that span multiple projects, ensuring alignment and creating visibility where design work is happening
• Facilitate alignment across disciplines by making problems visible to peers and leadership, decisions clear, and evidence central to the conversation
• Support a culture of inclusive feedback by seeking input from peers and partners early and throughout the process while owning the ultimate usability outcome
