Role
Who you are
- The best candidates for this position will have a track record of success in being technically proficient as well as customer savvy and with an entrepreneurial mindset. You must have an excellent knowledge of the requirements and challenges enterprises face with critical infrastructure and integration with 3rd parties
- 8+ years work experience with at least 3 functioning as a Pre-Sales Engineer, supporting complex software sales cycles
- Domain expertise in GIS, Remote Sensing, and geospatial with a preference for experience in Utility Vegetation or Infrastructure Management
- Experience conducting customer success site visits with a focus on expanding LiveEO’s services based on specific customer needs
- Experience and proficiency conducting live demonstrations of geospatial platforms and software
- Deep experience working directly with customers to ensure that their business goals are being met
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, as well as business and technical acumen, are a must; other regional languages skills a big plus
- A broad background in technical architecture is very desirable
- Experience in successful start-ups is strongly preferred
- Experience in speaking at events, tradeshows and webinars
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout the year (up to 50%), with an increase during the summer and fall season
What the job involves
- As a LiveEO Enterprise Sales Engineer focused on our infrastructure products, Treeline and SurfaceScout, you will be paired with our Commercial Lead in EMEA, and be our DACH customer’s primary technical point of contact during the sales process. You will take a consultative approach with our customers, identifying their pain points and driving technical alignment between customer needs and LiveEO’s infrastructure solutions
- You will serve as a product and industry expert, effectively describing and demonstrating our solution as well as promoting our vision and approach. You will be a trusted point of contact for our customers, but you will also keep a focus on advancing the sales process
- Conduct online and in-person demonstrations of the Treeline and SurfaceScout platforms to energy infrastructure operators
- Assess customer requirements and identify technical alignment between customer needs and the our solutions
- Communicate customer feedback and requirements to Product Management, Engineering, Operations and other groups within LiveEO
- Work hands-on with customers to install, enable deployment and proof of value our linear infrastructure monitoring solutions
- Conduct end-users training and enablement on the solutions, in-field validations
- Work directly with customers to ensure their goals are being met
- Oversee the entire RFP process, ensuring thorough and competitive proposals
- Partner with sales teams to understand customer needs and provide support before and during calls
- Train sales team members on the technical aspects of the company's products and services
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including executive overviews, discovery sessions, demos, and follow-up meetings
