Role
Who you are
- Experience dealing with vulnerable customers in a telephony-based role
- Collections experience ideally
- Ability to demonstrate empathy to our customers in hard times
- Ability to gather information to provide the best outcome
- Ability to manage your time and work to tight deadlines
- You can prioritise your work and be flexible with new cases that arise
- You use data to reach the best customers quickly
What the job involves
- Hours are 37.5hrs a week, Monday - Friday between 9am-6pm
- You'll be doing important work as a Vulnerability Officer, providing specialist support to customers who need extra care and attention
- You'll conduct vulnerability assessments, review customer accounts, and ensure that our vulnerable customers are treated with the utmost care and respect
- This role involves managing complex cases, tracking trends, and developing strategies to better assist customers in arrears
- Taking escalated inbound calls from vulnerable customers in arrears
- Manage your own portfolio of Vulnerable customers
- Meeting SLAs and implementing TCF principles
- Reviewing and conducting vulnerability assessments
- Working closely with other departments within Capital on Tap
- In depth reviews of hardships documentation - Bank statements and I&Es

- Final stage: 60 minutes experience and team fit interview with the team lead and a few members of the team (In-person)

Capital on Tap allows British SMEs access to a credit card with up to £250,000 credit within minutes. Gone are the days when waiting up to eight weeks for a loan decision was viable.
The company has raised significant funding too, which has allowed it to expand to the US and accelerate small business growth. With the company reporting to have attracted more than 200,000 SMEs to use its service and these users have spent over £10B, Capital on Tap is certainly on track for even more success.

- We have put a lot of time into developing an inclusive recruitment strategy to ensure our hiring practices are as inclusive as possible. All hiring managers have attended inclusive recruitment training and we have introduced objective skills testing.
- When speaking to teams across the company, the majority of teams felt that we are a diverse community with a huge mix of backgrounds and many people commented it was the most diverse place they’ve worked.
- Over the last year, we have started to share our own stories and experiences. Groups across the company commented how much they have enjoyed learning from each other and educating ourselves on different areas of diversity.
