Who you are
- This role is for someone who wants to be embedded with senior commercial leaders, have real ownership, and help shape the foundations of Omnea’s go-to-market team as we continue to scale
- You’ve got 5+ years of experience in high-growth startups or similarly fast-paced, high-accountability environments. You know what great looks like in terms of talent and hold a high bar -- but you’re also pragmatic, fast-moving, and solutions-oriented
- You’re commercial; you understand how hiring impacts revenue and you think like a businessperson, not a recruiter. You continuously leverage data to track, refine and optimise hiring KPIs
- You’ve got a track record of exceptional performance, whether in work, academics, sports, or anywhere else you’ve applied yourself. People trust you to get stuff done & you've built a great network in the startup & scale-up ecosystem
- You’re entrepreneurial and want to be part of building a business. You’re not looking for a narrow recruiter role; you want ownership, influence, and to play a key role in shaping a GTM team through our scaling journey
- You’re a great communicator, i.e. clear, concise, and persuasive. You can write great outreach, pitch to a passive candidate, have exceptional behavioural and competency-based interviewing skills, and can hold your own in a strategic conversation with senior leaders
- You’re outcomes-focused, with a strong bias to action. You don’t get stuck in process or theory, you move things forward, fast. You can hire for both high-volume and specialised searches for niche roles
- You’re a ruthless prioritiser, highly organised, and focused on outcomes over inputs. You’re efficient, leveraging AI throughout all your processes, and autonomous without compromising on quality
- You’re proactive and crave accountability. You don’t wait for instructions; you figure out what’s needed and make it happen. You can execute with little guidance & lots of ambiguity
- You’re ambitious and competitive; not in a sharp-elbows way, but because you care deeply about your career and doing the best work of your life. You’re hungry to grow fast and know that great things require effort and discipline

What the job involves
- You’ll partner directly with our Chief Commercial Officer (Abs), CFO (Sabrina), and Jasmin (BizOps) to define and execute a high-quality hiring engine across the UK & US
- You’ll drive everything from sourcing and outreach, to process design, to candidate closing
- You’ll help us recruit top-tier commercial talent and position Omnea as one of the best places to build a sales career in Europe and beyond
- We are building a very different type of GTM talent function, one more akin to ‘executive search’ focussed on quality & care rather than volume & speed
- You will help us build Europe’s best GTM talent org from the ground up, thinking from first principles and ensuring we continue to work with only the top 1% (to date, every Omnea GTM team member was the top performer of their previous company)
- You’ll create the playbook to hire AEs, Commercial Associates, Sales Engineers, Customer, and GTM leaders across the UK & US, making talent a core competitive advantage of Omnea
- You’ll partner directly with senior leaders & hiring managers to shape role specs, align on success profiles, and constantly hit hiring targets
- You’ll elevate the hiring bar by coaching interviewers, refining scorecards, and obsessing over what “great” looks like
- You’ll craft strong outreach and messaging campaigns like a salesperson. You’ll cut through the noise to engage top-tier talent with authentic messaging
- You’ll act as a strategic talent partner; influencing headcount plans, GTM org design, and making sure we're hiring the right roles at the right time
- You’ll shape Omnea’s presence in the market by contributing to employer branding, sharing thought leadership like Abs’ blog post on ‘Selling is Building’, and positioning us as the best place to work for the most ambitious GTM talent
- You’ll build and nurture a personal network of the top 1% GTM talent; running invite-only events, networking with investors, and becoming known as the go-to person for elite commercial hires across the UK & US

The way businesses buy stuff is broken. Whether it's SaaS, hardware, or contractors, the average B2B purchase takes over 3 months, requires 50+ emails, and involves multiple different stakeholders. Which in turn, is slowing businesses down.
Omnea's platform handles the entire purchasing process: giving employees an easy place to make requests (Intake), managing the necessary approvals for the purchase to be made (Approvals Engine), and automating all renewals management and suppliers risk assessments. Giving both buyers, and finance and procurement leaders critical visibility into how, when, and why money is being spent.
Given the current markets increased focus on capital efficiency, there has never been a more vital time for businesses to use Omnea and get control of their spending.
