Who you are
- We're seeking a dynamic, passionate and highly engaging Social Content Creator / Manager who can craft and produce engaging, platform-specific content that captures our brand's playful spirit and drives meaningful audience engagement at scale
- 2-4 years of proven experience in social media content creation
- Exceptional storytelling skills with a proven ability to create engaging, platform-specific content
- Advanced proficiency in video editing software (CapCut, Premiere Pro)
- Strong understanding of social media algorithms and engagement strategies
- Demonstrable portfolio of successful social media content
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creativity and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Engrained in social culture and always on top of the latest channel formats and trends
Desirable
- Understanding of basic design principles
- Data analysis skills for tracking content performance
- Knowledge of emerging social media platforms and trends
- Basic graphic design capabilities
- Familiarity with social media management tools
What the job involves
- Conceptualise, shoot, and edit high-engagement social content across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging social channels
- Comfortable being the brand's on-screen personality, who can nimbly adjust tone based on audience. E.g. from creator-style engagement for customers, to authoritative, professional communication that speaks to investors
- A natural storyteller who has the ability to switch between informative and entertaining modes
- Proven experience in building an impactful social media strategy that has delivered meaningful business value in a fast growing environment
- Stay ahead of social media trends and adapt content plans to maximise reach and engagement
- Develop creative concepts for viral and trending content that showcases Carmoola's unique brand personality
- Ensure content aligns with broader brand messaging
- Analyse content performance metrics and continuously optimise social content
- Develop an engaged community following, responding to comments and proactively fostering positive brand interactions

Our take
The current car buying experience lacks clarity around pricing and cost, meaning that buyers are often unable to make informed decisions regarding financing until very late into the process. Carmoola offers a solution to this by providing speedy financing options at the start of the buying process, placing control back into customers' hands.
The company is able to offer this radically different approach through new, innovative ways of approaching risk assessments that are geared towards transparency. Further, while other digital lenders and brokers require some phone calls and paperwork, Carmoola differentiates itself by operating entirely online for a more streamlined customer experience.
Funding has allowed the company to scale rapidly, and future plans include a continuation of this growth through new hires and development invested into its platform.
