Embedded Software Engineer, Blue River Technology

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering
• 3-5 years of experience developing embedded software in C/C++
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on testing and continuous integration practices
• Experience in real-time systems and knowledge of performance optimization techniques

Desirable

• In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to develop embedded software and systems for our computer vision-enabled agricultural products, including the Bay Area’s highest density compute platform for robotics
• Develop, enhance, and debug new and existing robotics software, image processing stacks, and device drivers for impactful robotics computing in C/C++ within a Linux environment
• Develop image signal processing algorithms and video pipelines within Blue River Technology’s See & Spray system
• Understand and optimize image sensor settings, drivers, and processing for high-performance applications in challenging conditions
• Optimize and understand the benefits of specific operations such as demosaicing, color correction, and tonemapping on image quality for both human and machine vision
• Quantify and measure image signal processing software quality across varied conditions and scene compositions
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to solve complex systems problems in a hands-on, dynamic environment
• Build processing time-constrained algorithms and develop efficient implementations for edge and cloud applications
