Role
Who you are
- You’ll be a mid-level Content Creator, Designer or Multimedia specialist experienced in direct-to-consumer brands
- Technical skills across Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, or other content creation platforms
- Proven experience in creating multimedia content, including video, graphics, and interactive digital assets
- You’ll be a creative individual with bias for action. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment!
- Be skilled in co-ordination, managing projects bringing together input from various departments to create cohesive and visually appealing content
- Strategic thinker who understands the role content plays within the broader customer journey
What the job involves
- We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Creative Content Designer to join our growing Content team. You’ll be responsible for developing and coordinating digital content that drives growth, enhances user engagement, and boosts website performance. You’ll play a key role in content creation, design (graphic and animated) and optimisation.
- This includes collaboration across teams, ensuring high-quality, visually compelling content that resonates with both consumer and tradesperson audiences. Creativity and strategic thinking are essential as you craft impactful digital assets and work with various departments to elevate our brand. - You’ll report to the Senior Content Marketing Manager contributing to the broader content and SEO strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business goals. You’ll create and design digital content, including graphics, images, video, and multimedia assets, to enhance the Checkatrade website and scale our online presence.
- As a household name, and a brand that is synonymous with trust and reputation, you’ll ensure brand consistency. This includes aligning content, tone of voice and style to brand guidelines. You’ll work closely with cross functional teams such as Brand, PR, Social, SEO, and Content to ensure cohesive content strategies and projects. We love data, and so do you, therefore, you’ll deep dive into analytics tracking content performance metrics to inform and optimise future content creation and strategies
