3+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, private equity, venture capital, investment banking, management consulting, public markets investing, or equity research
Strong analytical skills and deep experience building integrated financial models

Exceptional attention to detail
Proficiency in SQL is a plus

What the job involves

GlossGenius is looking for a Strategic Finance Associate to support financial and strategic analysis, forecasting and budgeting, and management and investor reporting while displaying curiosity, proactivity, and accountability
You will partner closely with executives and business leaders across the organization to evaluate strategic business decisions and drive financially informed decision-making practices
You will report to the Finance Lead. You must be commutable to our NYC headquarters and will operate in a hybrid environment with 2 days per week in the office (Tuesdays & Thursdays)
Act as a strategic thought partner to executives and department heads, leading the creation of financial and operational data-driven analyses with impactful insights and recommendations
Track, analyze, and forecast key business/financial KPIs with the aim of uncovering trends and assessing current/future business risks and opportunities
Help lead the quarterly and annual financial forecast and budget planning processes, working in close partnership with executives and department leaders
Prepare management and investor reporting, including materials for Board of Directors meetings
Develop and maintain comprehensive financial and operating models for the entire company and individual areas of our business
Perform research and develop frameworks to support the executive team in defining short and long-term strategy and objectives
Identify and drive initiatives to continuously improve, automate, and scale forecasting, reporting, procurement, and capital allocation tools and systems

With little competition in this niche, GlossGenius has swiftly captured a large market share, with triple-digit year on year revenue growth. It serves over 1000,000 businesses and has raised more than $70M.

With this funding, the company is aiming to accelerate platform development off the back of the release of consumer experience, payment and automation products. And it is well on the way to fulfilling its long-term aim of developing into the Toast of the beauty industry.
