Role
Who you are
- CIPD Qualified, ideally to Level 5 or above
- At least 3 years in an HR Manager role
- Experience working with 250+ employees or a business of around 150m T/O
- Experience in using and maintaining HR information
- Proactive, excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- GDPR knowledge
- Employment Law and Employee Relations
What the job involves
- Here at Bark we are expanding our HQ in Paddington and are now looking for a bright and tenacious Senior HR Business Partner to join our people team
- You will be the first point of contact for all employees to discuss all things HR so we need someone super approachable & strategic with a wealth of employee relation knowledge that will play a key role in helping the people team build a culture that is inclusive, dynamic and focused on engaging and retaining top industry talent
- There is a huge potential with this role and you will be working cross functionally with a great team of people whilst putting a structure in place for our employees to grow as we continue to expand at a rapid pace, always considering how we future proof for future growth
- As the business scales, so will your role and you will need to be willing to challenge yourself and our department heads as we reach a headcount of 200+
- Manage multiple stakeholders cross functionally to strategically map and initiate key HR initiatives and people related issues
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of our company wide strategy and priorities in order to drive people solutions to mirror this
- Provide advice across a range of employee relations matters, partnering with line managers to ensure legal compliance and offering structured meeting guidance
- Provide organisation development, change management expertise and value-adding partnership to the business function
- Facilitate regular Talent Review discussions with leaders and managers to support them in ensuring they have effective succession and development plans across their teams and are proactively developing their team members as a result of this
- Provide advice, coaching and feedback along with challenging where needed, to ensure leaders consistently live Bark’s Values and bring them to life for their teams
- Lead on/or implement HR initiative and project implementation across the business
- Manage the annual salary and bonus reviews
- Develop and manage employee training and development
- Oversee the on boarding process to ensure all legal compliance is fulfilled and that our new starters receive the best possible welcome
- Liaise with the Senior Management team to ascertain the business's recruitment needs
