What the job involves

Sycurio is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Executive to join our US (NorthEast) team
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving direct and indirect enterprise sales, with a focus on expanding our footprint and selling new products into our existing customer base
Drive Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets through direct and indirect sales channels within the US market
Enterprise Sales: Manage and close complex enterprise sales deals, demonstrating a deep understanding of customer needs and Sycurio's solutions
New Product Sales: Proactively identify opportunities to introduce new Sycurio products and services to existing customers and new logo, maximizing account penetration and revenue
Direct and Indirect Sales: Develop and execute sales strategies for both direct customer engagement and through channel partners, optimizing reach and market coverage
MEDDIC Methodology: Utilize the MEDDIC sales methodology to qualify leads, manage opportunities, and ensure successful deal closure
Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust sales pipeline 4x your quarterly targets in HubSpot CRM, accurately forecasting revenue and providing regular updates to sales management
Market Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new business opportunities
Collaboration: Work closely with pre-sales, marketing, BDR, established partners, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and achieve sales objectives
Metrics-Driven Approach: Consistently track and analyse sales performance against key metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing effective strategies to optimize results

Sycurio, formerly Semafone, is a data security and compliance solutions company for call-centres with major clients including BT, Talk Talk, and Sky among others. The company uses data security tools and analysis to make sure that customer calls are always secure and private.

Sycurio has had quite the journey since its founding in 2009, with long-term support from the Business Growth Fund before its buyout by Livingbridge. Livingbridge is an investment firm, and its buyout of Sycurio led to the latter's name change from Semafone.

This buyout marked a major step for Sycurio, which has benefitted from a massive shift to digitised customer interactions in the 2020s. Personal data coverage by modern privacy regulations has risen by 10% between 2020 and 2023, meaning that more companies than ever are seeking partners such as Sycurio to help navigate the evolving data and privacy compliance sector.
