Who you are
- Minimum 8 years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years of hands-on Go (Golang) development
- Strong expertise in SQL and experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Proven experience with messaging platforms, including Kafka and RabbitMQ
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using Terraform, Jenkins pipelines etc
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog, Grafana, Kibana
- Bonus Points:
- Prior experience with C#, C++, and/or Java
- Experience collaborating with finance business team
- Experience with lightweight UI technologies such as HTMX, Alpine JS, Svelte, or CSS
- Experience with Python and PySpark

- Architect, design, and develop robust, scalable backend services using Go, PostgreSQL, Kafka
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries; manage and maintain relational databases
- Integrate and support messaging platforms, including Kafka and RabbitMQ
