Who you are
- A minimum of 1-2 years experience in a compliance role within financial services, preferably within aCFD and Spread Betting firm
- Knowledge of FCA regulations and the wider regulatory landscape
- Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- A degree educated in a relevant subject is preferred but not essential
- An understanding of the functioning of the physical crypto asset environment is preferred but not essential
What the job involves
- We are seeking a Compliance Analyst to join our Compliance team
- The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our firm complies with all regulatory/legislative requirements and standards
- Conduct regular reviews of the firm's policies and procedures to ensure they comply with relevant regulations
- Assist with the implementation of new compliance processes and procedures
- Provide guidance and support to the business on regulatory compliance matters
- Assist with the preparation of regulatory reports and returns
- Monitor regulatory developments and advise the business on the impact of any changes
- Assist with the delivery of compliance training to the business
- Investigate and report on any breaches of regulatory requirements
- Conduct investigations and reviews of suspicious transactions or other potential compliance issues
- Assisting with the review and approval of marketing and advertising materials
- Support the compliance team and client-facing teams in responding to client complaints
