Role
Who you are
- You’ve been the first Product Marketer in an organisation or the first Product Marketer on a core, high-value feature, and are capable of both strategy and execution
- You have experience developing and leading go-to-market strategies and coordinating new feature & product launches
- You’ve worked on various parts of the funnel and have a strong understanding of product-led growth metrics including acquisition, activation, engagement, retention & referral
- You’re comfortable writing copy with a strong focus on delivering value for our customers
- You can conduct quantitative and qualitative research to mine insights to guide product and marketing decisions
- You enjoy working in a small but dynamic company, with the ambiguity, pace and opportunity that comes along with it
- You have a ruthless focus on using data & insights to improve your teams’ work
- You are positive, proactive, and open-minded
- You take pride in the quality of your work and have exceptionally high attention to detail
- You’re a team player, comfortable working with others and independently, holding yourself and others accountable

- 4+ years of experience working in product marketing for a B2C technology business
- Willing to get your hands dirty while also working on strategy
- Comfortable working in small cross-functional teams, working across Marketing, Product, Data, Customer Support and Content
- Motivated by being a key stakeholder in a small but rapidly growing business
What the job involves
- Drive adoption of new features & products
- Lead GTM research, strategy and coordination
- Collaborate with Product teams to understand and communicate the value of new features and products
- Educate internal and external stakeholders about product capabilities through clear, compelling storytelling
- Develop and execute conversion strategies
- Craft and implement strategies to optimise the customer journey and increase conversion rates across the funnel
- Identify key user segments and develop tailored marketing campaigns to drive engagement and adoption
- Write compelling copy to drive conversion
- Leverage data-driven insights
- Conduct thorough market and competitor analyses to uncover trends, opportunities, and insights to inform product and marketing decisions
- Measure and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to conversion and adoption, such as activation rates, feature utilisation, and revenue contribution
- Collaborate cross-functionally
- Partner with Product, Marketing, Data, Customer Support and Content teams to align on priorities and deliver cohesive campaigns
- Act as the voice of the customer by integrating user feedback into product roadmaps and marketing strategies
- Manage stakeholders
- Ensure alignment between stakeholders by clearly communicating progress, challenges, and successes
- Mentor junior team members as the team scales and the role grows in scope

Save My Exams is an online platform for students, offering a range of revision and learning materials to help them improve their grades. Focusing specifically on end-of-stage exams, the platform offers GCSE and A-Level resources created by a team of subject experts. The platform was founded by veteran private tutor Jamie Undrell in 2017 after he experienced first-hand the lack of online revision materials for students whilst running his own agency.
Save My Exams supports over 25,000 students in over 150 countries, who can access past papers and revision notes for free or pay a monthly subscription fee in exchange for further access to questions, model answers and videos. It competes with online tools like GetRevising (part of The Student Room forum) and StudyWise, as well as legacy publishers like CGP, for a slice of the billion-pound EdTech industry.
On the back of its success and growth, the company is looking to take its technical product to the next level, firstly by growing its development team and launching new features.
