Role
Who you are
- Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
- Completed coursework in ML/AI concepts and are eager to apply what you’ve learned to help build, evaluate, and improve AI-driven products
- Working knowledge of SQL, including writing queries that join multiple tables and perform aggregations
- Experience using Python for end-to-end data analysis, applying statistical thinking, performing aggregations with tools like Pandas and NumPy, and translating results into clear visualizations and narratives
- Basic understanding of programming fundamentals, including functions, data structures, and introductory object-oriented concepts in Python
- Interest in learning how to build maintainable and reliable data workflows, with guidance from senior team members
- Curiosity about how data products are built end-to-end, from problem definition to delivering analysis or code
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, ask thoughtful questions, and incorporate feedback

What the job involves
- Contribute to the measurement, analysis, and evolution of AI-powered products at Doximity
- Collaborate with data analysts, data engineers, and developers to help design, implement, and evaluate LLM-based approaches that inform future product iterations
- Work with real production datasets to support data analysis, pipelines, and dashboards used across the business
- Learn and apply best practices for writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested data code
- Gain hands-on exposure to modern data tooling, distributed data processing, and ML/AI workflows
- Participate in projects end-to-end — from problem definition through delivery — with mentorship and support from the team

Our take
Doximity provides an app to connect physicians, so they can stay on top of medical news and in touch with their peers. Establishing itself as the "LinkedIn for Doctors", it has become the largest community of healthcare professionals in the US, with a large majority of doctors, NPs & physician assistants among its verified members.
Though there are other platforms out there connecting physicians, Doximity appears to be regarded as the leader in this space, boasting a large and established presence. Amongst its successes is the fact that its "Doximity Dialer" platform has twice been recognised as 'Best in KLAS’ in the Telehealth - Video Conferencing Platforms segment at the KLAS awards.
Since its 2021 IPO, Doximity has significantly grown its revenue, primarily through allowing drugmakers to promote products and services to doctors, and acting as a recruitment tool for medical systems. The company is currently focused on developing its product, increasing its utility through integrations with health record systems and adding AI administrative tools. It is well poised to achieve its ambitious goal of attaining $1 billion in annual revenue by 2028.
