Who you are
- 1-3 years of experience in sales operations, deal desk, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides) or Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software a plus
What the job involves
- We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Deal Desk Analyst to join our growing Business Operations team
- In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring smooth and efficient deal closures by working closely with sales, legal, finance, and other stakeholders
- You will analyze and structure deals, ensure compliance with company policies, and facilitate timely approvals to drive revenue growth
- Review and analyze incoming deal requests from the sales team
- Ensure deals comply with company pricing, discounting, and approval policies
- Collaborate with sellers to optimize deal terms and structure for mutual benefit
- Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies
- Partner with stakeholders to advise/build deals in the systems to enable timely approvals, signature and customer invoicing
- Review sales contracts and order forms for accuracy and completeness
- Identify non-standard terms and conditions, escalating as needed
- Collaborate with legal counsel to address contract issues and ensure compliance
- Build out associated deal configuration in the systems to support the quote to cash process
- Manage the deal approval process, ensuring timely and efficient reviews
- Communicate with stakeholders regarding deal status and approval decisions
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the deal desk process
- Propose and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Build strong working relationships with sales, legal, finance, and other departments
- Act as a liaison between teams to ensure seamless deal execution
- Track key deal metrics and provide regular reports to management
- Analyze deal data to identify trends and areas for improvement
