Role
Who you are
- 3–5 years of experience in recruitment, HR, or people operations (startup or tech environment preferred)
- Experience hiring or sourcing engineering & product talent strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of HR processes, documentation, and US employment key concepts/ processes
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask across recruitment, HR, and office tasks
- Excellent communication and relationship-building ability
- Interest in crypto, blockchain, or data/tech—prior experience is a plus
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-growing scale-up environment
What the job involves
- We’re seeking a Recruitment & HR Associate to support both talent acquisition and HR operations
- This is a key role in helping us hire exceptional talent, streamline people processes, and ensure a positive employee experience across our global team
- 60% Recruitment | 40% HR & Office Operations
- You will work closely with leadership and hiring managers to support hiring efforts - particularly technical and data roles - while also helping run core HR processes and maintaining smooth daily operations in the NYC office
- Recruitment (60%):
- In charge of full-cycle recruitment for engineering, product, and revenues roles
- Source and engage candidates across various channels (LinkedIn, niche tech communities, job boards)
- Conduct initial candidate screenings and coordinate interview processes
- Maintain our ATS and ensure accurate data tracking and reporting
- Promote a positive candidate experience and support employer branding initiatives
- Manage communication with external recruitment partners when needed
- HR & People Operations (30%):
- Support onboarding and offboarding workflows, ensuring a seamless employee experience
- Maintain employee records, HRIS data, and documentation
- Assist with payroll coordination, benefits administration, and compliance processes
- Help facilitate performance review cycles, feedback processes, and culture initiatives
- Contribute to internal communications and people-related updates
- Office & Administrative Support (10%):
- Coordinate office logistics, supplies, and vendor relationships for the NYC office
- Support planning for team events, offsites, and meetings
- Provide general administrative support as needed

As cryptocurrency has become increasingly mainstream, the demand for a proper crypto data infrastructure has also grown. Kaiko builds custom crypto data plans for enterprises, providing the necessary data layer for institutions to utilise digital assets effectively.

This has given Kaiko investors access to data centres around the world while at the same time enhancing access to crypto data feeds for investors and traders on the ICE network. What's more, the company now serves some of crypto's most high-profile players, such as CoinShares and Paxos.
Kaiko has set its sights on further developing its infrastructure, with an especial focus on expanding its connectivity solution. This will allow the company to remain agile and competitive in the years to come.
