Who you are
- 3+ years working in a senior partnerships, business development, or strategic alliances role
- Experience working with VCs, consulting firms, and/or technology partners
- Deep understanding of the compensation and rewards landscape is a plus
- Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills
- Strategic thinker and a doer with the ability to identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue and deliver measurable results through partnerships
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth, or startup environment
What the job involves
- As the Partnerships Manager at Ravio, you will lead the development and execution of our partnership strategy, focusing on three key groups: venture capital & PE firms, compensation consultants, and technology partners
- Your mission is to build and nurture strategic relationships that enhance Ravio’s market presence, drive revenue growth, and solidify our position as a trusted leader in compensation intelligence
- Identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities with VCs, compensation consultants, and technology partners
- Execute and iterate on Ravio’s comprehensive partnership strategy
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key partners, ensuring strong relationships and ongoing collaboration
- Regularly assess partner satisfaction and identify opportunities for deeper engagement
- Develop and maintain relationships with leading VC & PE firms to position Ravio as the go-to resource for their portfolio companies
- Collaborate with these partners to provide their startups with access to Ravio’s platform, insights, and expertise
- Build strategic alliances with compensation and HR consultancy firms to integrate Ravio’s solutions into their client offerings
- Co-create value propositions and go-to-market strategies with consultancy partners
- Identify and partner with complementary technology providers (e.g., HRIS, payroll, ATS providers) to drive integrations and expand Ravio’s ecosystem
- Negotiate partnership agreements that ensure mutual success and value creation
- Drive revenue through partnerships by identifying and executing joint initiatives that create mutual business opportunities
- Monitor partnership performance and optimize strategies to maximize results
- Work closely with Ravio’s sales, marketing, product, and data teams to ensure alignment between partnership goals and broader company objectives
- Provide partner feedback to influence product development and marketing strategies

Our take
The war for talent is raging, creating a fertile market for existing recruitment tech companies, and a birthing ground for new ones. Ravio is one of the latter, and recently launched its compensation benchmarking platform aimed to help companies keep their offer attractive relative to competitors, filtered according to aspects like location, industry, business growth rate, and funding.
There’s far more to keep track of now, too - with the great resignation, and a persisting shortfall of tech talent, both the employment markets and compensation expectations are changing fast. Scaleups are bearing the brunt of managing these rapid fluctuations - so appetite for products such as Ravio is likely to be high.
Ravio also allows companies to dig through more granular compensation inequalities related to, for example, an applicant’s background or race. It claims to offer the most detailed diversity insights - and if this is the case, it could help slingshot Ravio to the top of the recruitment tech pile. DEI initiatives are becoming more of a business imperative now, and being able to prove evidence-based practices from the ground up would be a boon for some.
