- Has 5+ years of experience in visual design, with a strong portfolio showcasing brand and marketing design skills. Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus
- Demonstrates a high bar for craft and quality, with strong conceptual thinking that brings brand stories to life visually
- Is proficient in key design tools, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Figma, and prototyping tools like Principle or Framer
- Possesses a solid foundation in design principles, typography, color theory, and composition
- Has experience creating brand-consistent visuals for consumer tech or similar industries, preferably with a cross-functional or marketing focus
- Has excellent communication skills and can articulate design concepts effectively while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Thrives in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment and is comfortable navigating ambiguity
- Nice-to-haves: Experience in motion design, 3D design, and knowledge of blockchain, cryptocurrency, or fintech

- As a Visual / Brand Designer at CoinTracker, you’ll have a crucial impact on our brand presence and identity, especially as we prepare for our busiest time of year.
- Working with cross-functional teams and our marketing external marketing agency, you’ll translate brand guidelines into powerful visual assets for marketing campaigns, social media, in-product banners, and more.
- Your designs will enhance the CoinTracker experience for millions of users and create a cohesive, memorable brand across all our channels
- Drive the visual design for marketing assets, including social media content, email templates, promotional graphics, and in-product banners, to support CoinTracker’s omnichannel campaigns
- Collaborate deeply with the Head of Marketing, Head of Design, Lifecycle Marketing, and Social Media teams, as well as with external partners, to ensure design work aligns with brand goals and broader campaign themes
- Ensure brand consistency by applying design guidelines across all touchpoints, managing and evolving elements like color palettes, typography, and iconography
- QA and finalize assets, maintaining CoinTracker’s high standards for quality and branding, ready for implementation or handoff to cross-functional teams
- Adapt quickly to feedback and stay up-to-date with design trends, fintech/crypto industry standards, and best practices to create fresh, engaging visuals
- Concept and iterate rapidly to meet the fast-paced demands of tax season campaigns, optimizing designs to maximize impact across channels

- Deliver a consistent suite of visually compelling, brand-aligned assets for social media, emails, promos, and in-product banners that drive engagement and resonate with our audiences
- Partner closely with marketing, social media, and agency teams to conceptualize and rapidly iterate on creative ideas that support CoinTracker’s tax season campaigns
- Ensure design assets meet CoinTracker’s high standards, performing QA on deliverables for polished, on-brand visuals ready for final launch
Our take
Managing taxes for crypto investments can be a difficult task, and with tax regulations and trading practices developing fast in this market, a tool to help manage them is vital. CoinTracker’s crypto management software provides just this; tracking and synching up to 200 transactions across different wallets to a single dashboard, and automatically populating tax forms.
Though there are rivals in the space (such as Coinpanda and Koinly), CoinTracker stands out for the sheer volume of transactions it can track, as well as its prioritization of ease-of-use. Through this approach, it makes the whole process far more compliant and hassle-free for crypto traders, especially serving those who are less educated regarding the space.
By balancing tax management tools with its relatively generous free plan, CoinTracker has straddled itself neatly across low-volume retail investors and those dipping their toes in a little deeper. With fresh unicorn funding and regulatory pressure mounting around crypto tax reporting, the company is set to turn a historically painful obligation into a gateway for wider crypto adoption and help investors say compliant while better understanding the true performance of their portfolios.
