Role
Who you are
- Preparing a master’s degree in Finance
- Knowledge of French accounting (basic knowledge of US accounting would be a plus)
- Previous professional experience in Finance would be appreciated
- Expertise in PowerPoint and Excel
- Discretion & sense of confidentiality
- Fluency in English (spoken & written)
- Eager to learn and evolve in the dynamic environment of a fast growing company with a great team spirit
- Curious, rigorous and organized

What the job involves
- In a context of strong growth, we are looking for a Finance & Administration Intern to assist with financial operations, reporting activities, and legal & administrative tasks
- You will join a team of 3, reporting to the Head of Finance and Operations. You will be located in Paris and actively collaborating with different teams in France and the US
- Invoicing activities (payables & receivables)
- Expense management and receipts collection
- Accounting coordination (assist accountants by providing the requested information)
- Monitor Travel & Expenses on a monthly basis
- Prepare financial reports for government grants
- Participate to the production of financial statements based on accounting data
- Assist with budgeting activities, monitor budgets & actuals per department and conduct gap analysis
- Participate in financial closing activities
- Prepare investor reports
- Assist auditors in the yearly closing
- Conduct occasional analyses depending on business requirements
- Coordinate with other departments on financial data
- Compliance & Risk Management: Monitor insurance contracts, GDPR measures, and other compliance initiatives
- Coordinate with our legal advisors and provide them with the necessary documentation
- Assist with the preparation and organization of board meetings and other committees
- 6 months internship with a learning agreement delivered by your school

Our take
Due to a volatile supply chain landscape, fluctuating demands and deepening product complexity, factory operations are becoming increasingly difficult to run smoothly and efficiently, which in turn affects their revenue.
Pelico believes that its factory operations SaaS platform is the answer, particularly for factories which are pivoting from mass production to more discrete models with variable products in smaller volumes. By leveraging data analysis and AI modeling, Pelico is able to foresee bottlenecks such as parts shortages, then provide AI-generated recommendations.
The last few years have seen a growing number of startups enter this space as manufacturers feel the supply chain squeeze. Though it’s a highly competitive market, Pelico has grown quite strongly in Europe. Now having secured major funding, the French startup is aiming to expand further while continuing to develop its product.
