Our take
Pernod Ricard is the French-founded, global wine and spirits group. Currently sitting as number two worldwide, the company has a clear goal to become the leader of its sector. Amongst its broad portfolio of brands includes Absolut, Beefeater, Jameson, Jacob’s Creek and Malibu.
Founded in 1975, the company has found international success with consistent growth across multiple markets. The company’s model has shifted to best accommodate this expansion, becoming a decentralised group. While the global organisation operates from Paris, this HQ respects the operational autonomy of its affiliates across the globe, meaning local customers’ needs are not only met but anticipated for maximum effect.
Pernod Ricard has plans to invest in anticipated growth categories. It has been active in portfolio management with Sovereign Brands, Código 1530 and Nocheluna, and has been reinforcing these partnerships to strengthen its US market exposure. This supports the further enhancement of its consumer-centric portfolio development, positioning it for continued success.
