Who you are
- You're someone who thrives on igniting inbound pipeline generation, driving efficiency to new heights, and supercharging the yield from outbound marketing efforts. You love optimizing funnels, focusing on core growth levers, and discovering new opportunities to scale and enhance programs
- You enjoy collaborating closely with peers across various departments in marketing and beyond (i.e. channel marketing, communications, product marketing, sales, and customer success to drive growth)
- You think differently and are quick on your feet in a high-growth environment - operating from the data and bringing an experimental, “test and learn” orientation to your work
- You come to the table with the spirit of collaboration, to identify places to problem-solve wherever you can, and approach every challenge with scale in mind
- Ultimately, you are a leader with great communication skills and can speak openly to allow for constructive feedback within the team
- 7+ years in leading a digital marketing/demand generation team at a growing SaaS company or equivalent experience and ownership of a $5M+ budget
- Strong command over an inbound marketing motion driving at least 40% of the total pipeline
- Solid understanding of B2B marketing across all functions, for example, lead & demand generation, revenue & performance marketing, global marketing, product marketing, and event marketing
- Detailed understanding and application of marketing data analytics and performance metrics
- Experience working collaboratively with sales to meet business goals, including experience with sales enablement tools and techniques
- Experience with project management methodologies, and tools such as Marketo, Outreach, Demandbase, Salesforce, Asana, and A/B testing tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and experience in cybersecurity is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field, or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
What the job involves
- Lead a team of experienced marketers in performance marketing (web product, marketing operations, paid digital), demand generation (events, sponsorships, etc.), and work closely with Revenue. You’ll coach, mentor and rally your team around the biggest opportunities
- Generate pipeline. Own the delivery of our inbound pipeline numbers and align with sales and customer success leaders to help hit our outbound and expansion targets. Rigorously audit the full funnel, provide data-driven insights, and make adjustments swiftly to drive the business
- Increase efficiency. Balance growth and efficiency by finding and executing opportunities in areas like conversion rate, marketing mix, lead routing, targeting and time allocation. Maintain or improve net new pipeline to marketing spend ratios with an eye on close rates and payback periods, ensuring a strong feedback loop with sales
- Collaborate and prioritize effectively. Work cross-functionally and utilize data to focus the team on the right initiatives in the right order. Maintain a strong connection between brand and demand and a consistent experience across the customer journey
- Manage a $5M+ budget. Allocate, track and generate the highest return from a healthy marketing budget spanning digital, events, marketing technology, contractors and agencies
- Present strategic priorities and performance. Articulate key initiatives and present performance reviews to leadership, including financials, test results, forecasts, and metrics. Hold yourself and your team accountable to results
