Ontra is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer reporting to one of our Engineering Managers
The role is a great opportunity for anyone who enjoys working on the frontend and backend of web applications, has a knack for mentorship, and thrives off building scalable, robust systems. We have exciting technical challenges ahead of us and are building a platform that is changing one of the largest industries in the world.

Proactivity: Ensuring efficiency and performance for previously developed programs
Develop and scale: Build, implement, and maintain web-based applications from the frontend to the backend
Creating partnerships: Collaborate designers and product teams to understand and translate requirements and quickly identify and resolve product issues
Ensure best practices: working closely with teammates and QA for code reviews and applying best practices to software development, leading to the delivery of high quality and well-tested software

High-volume legal work can be a drag for large enterprises, who end up straining their internal resources or their bottom line as they outsource the work. Ontra (previously InCloudCounsel) slides in as a solution to this problem by pairing businesses with a network of freelance corporate lawyers to manage their routine legal work in a more cost-effective way.

In addition to enterprises, the company is an attractive proposition for lawyers who want a more flexible working life than Big Law can usually offer. Ontra attempts to avoid direct confrontation with Big Law by focusing more on routine work and document management tasks.
