Who you are
- We’re looking for someone who can bring AI-native thinking to how our platform evolves—whether it’s in accelerating development with intelligent defaults, enabling automated observability, or expanding how customers build with Fivetran programmatically
- This is a high-impact, high-visibility role, perfect for product leaders who thrive on technical challenges, tight feedback loops, and opportunities to shape long-term platform strategy
- 3+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS or cloud platforms
- A strong technical foundation—comfortable working on APIs, backend systems, developer tools, or security platforms
- A track record of owning complex initiatives and delivering high-impact outcomes for technical users
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills across product, engineering, and go-to-market teams
- Analytical mindset and comfort with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
Desirable
- Familiarity with modern data infrastructure and tooling (e.g., ELT/ETL, dbt, Airflow, Dagster, Snowflake, Databricks)
- Experience with enterprise security and compliance standards (e.g., SSO, RBAC, audit logging, SOC2)
- Prior work on developer tools, SDKs, or extensibility platforms
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced environment
What the job involves
- As Product Manager for Orchestration and Extensibility, you will be at the forefront of empowering our customers to customize, orchestrate, and scale their data workflows effortlessly
- Your work will focus on enhancing Fivetran’s transformations, orchestration, and extensibility features, ensuring users can adapt the platform to meet their unique business and technical needs
- From refining orchestration workflows to delivering powerful API and SDK capabilities, you’ll create tools that simplify complex data operations
- You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, UX design, and go-to-market teams to deliver features that make data transformation intuitive and extensibility seamless
- This is a high-visibility role with significant impact—directly shaping how Fivetran integrates into the modern data stack and helping customers unlock the full potential of their data
- Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Fivetran’s orchestration and extensibility features
- Work closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to identify user pain points and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to build features and enhancements that grow adoption of Fivetran’s transformations offerings and enable deeper platform extensibility
- Monitor usage analytics and customer feedback to refine features and ensure alignment with user needs
- Partner with go-to-market teams to effectively launch new capabilities and educate users about their benefits
- Stay informed about trends in data transformations, developer tools, and extensibility to keep Fivetran at the forefront of innovation
