Who you are

Juris Doctorate degree (or equivalent) from an ABA accredited law school Licensed in good standing to practice law in at least one State
15+ years’ experience (10+ prior inhouse counsel experience required)
Current member of the bar or able to be admitted to the inhouse counsel bar
Experience negotiating and drafting service agreements, license agreements, subcontracts, marketing agreements, real estate leases, non-disclosure agreements, confidentiality agreements and consulting agreements
Experience supporting operations outside of the United States
Strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to successfully build relationships and work with cross-functional teams. Detail-orientation and ability to balance competing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously under deadline pressure
Ability to deliver in a demanding and entrepreneurial environment in a timely manner

We are looking for a solutions-focused Director-level attorney. The role reports to the General Counsel
Negotiate agreements with customers
Develop customer-centric solutions to ensure both legal compliance is achieved and internal and external customer needs are satisfied
Supporting business operations and providing direction and counsel regarding compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and staying abreast of laws, legislative developments and developing external trends
Anticipates internal and/or external business challenges
Recommends process, product or service improvements
Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business
Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles
Contributes to the development of functional strategy
Makes decisions within functional, business unit, company or industry guidelines
Develops innovative new concepts, services, technologies or products to address current and future customer requirements
Operates with limited supervision in a complex environment
Anticipates customer needs to influence the development of innovative solutions
Communicates highly complex ideas to multiple organizational levels
Works effectively across the organization to create broad acceptance for ideas/initiatives
