What the job involves
- We're growing fast in the US, headcount doubling over the next 12 months and we need someone in Manhattan who takes genuine pride in making everything around them work brilliantly
- That's where we come in. Orbital Copilot is the AI assistant built exclusively for commercial real estate law. Developed with former practicing real estate lawyers, it accelerates complex due diligence by up to 70% while delivering legal-grade precision
- You'll be a core member of our Manhattan office, owning the day-to-day running of the office and creating the environment for our fantastic NY-based team to thrive. You'll also provide operational oversight of our secondary LA office, and as we hire remote roles across the US, you'll help build the foundations to ensure everyone, in-office or remote, is set up for success and feels genuinely part of the Orbital team
- This is a hands-on, ownership-first role. The person who thrives here takes genuine ownership, has high standards and a sharp eye for detail, brings real experience making offices and workplaces genuinely great, and is comfortable providing day-to-day executive support to a busy CEO. You'll report into the Head of Operations and work as part of the Back Office team
- You'll own how our NYC hub runs day to day: the feel of the place, the energy when people walk in, and all the behind-the-scenes work that lets a high-performing team focus on doing their best work
- Set the tone the moment people walk in as you're the first person the team and guests see
- Own the day-to-day running and standards of the New York office and take real pride in making it genuinely great
- Manage vendor relationships, facilities coordination, and office supplies
- Make sure the fridge is stocked, lunches are sorted, and the office feels like somewhere people actually want to be
- Ensure the office technology works seamlessly and space is easy to navigate: AV connects, meeting rooms are set up right, and desk booking reflects real usage so friction never has a chance to surface
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including granting and revoking access to core systems
- The CEO moves fast. Your job is to make sure he's always organised, prepared, and one step ahead, and to free up the Chief of Staff to focus on the bigger picture
- Help build communication rhythms and rituals that keep remote team members genuinely connected
- You will:
- Own the CEO's calendar, travel, and logistics, keeping him organised, prepared, and moving efficiently
- Parachute into priority problems and help keep things moving when it matters
- Our Los Angeles office will be smaller but still needs an operational owner, and as we hire remote roles across the US, we need to make sure everyone feels genuinely part of the Orbital team wherever they're based
- Act as the operational point of contact for the LA office, ensuring the environment meets Orbital's standards and the team has what they need
- Own equipment provisioning and onboarding logistics for remote US joiners, ensuring every touchpoint is smooth and consistent from day one
- Support tooling and access management for the distributed team
- At Orbital, getting people in a room together is never an accident. You'll design and deliver US team events and moments that people actually look forward to: the kind that strengthen how the team works, not just how it socialises
- Plan and execute team socials, All Hands, and company off-sites for the US team
- Manage vendors and budgets with confidence
- Create lightweight feedback loops to continuously improve the events programme
- Ensure in-person moments support business outcomes as well as social connection
- Security is everyone’s responsibility at Orbital. We ask all team members to follow our security policies, complete regular awareness training, and handle sensitive data with care in line with ISO 27001 standards

The company builds SaaS solutions that transform how property professionals work by leveraging cutting-edge Generative AI and LLM technologies.
The company's products aggregate geospatial, property, and legal data from diverse sources to provide an unprecedented view of legal risk attached to properties. This provides real estate lawyers and property professionals with a one-stop-shop for property due diligence, allowing a vastly more transparent and efficient process whilst providing a better quality of service to clients.
Orbital's AI solutions are already used by thousands of lawyers and commercial property professionals across the UK and the US. It plans to grow its presence in the US and scale its team to achieve this objective. There is a huge opportunity to transform the way that property, the world's largest asset class, is transacted and bring it into the 21st century.
