What the job involves
- Are you a passionate Early Childhood Program Director ready to step out of the classroom and into the innovation side of education?
- At Zen Educate, we’re looking for an ambitious relationship-builder to help expand our Early Childhood partnerships across districts, Head Start programs, and private childcare networks. If you’ve led a program, understand how staffing impacts quality, and want to drive change at scale, this is a high-ownership role where you’ll help shape how early learning is supported across the country
- Based in the Los Angeles office, you’ll be calling school leaders in the US and booking meetings to introduce Zen’s offering
- Facilitate a successful onboarding process for new schools
- Making 50+ calls a day
- Collaborate with the sales, operations, and technology teams to continuously improve efficiency in delivering value to schools
- Opportunities to travel to US states for conferences, events and school meetings
- Opportunities to lead demos and develop your sales skills
- Embracing the dynamic nature of startup life, where no two weeks are the same, and a willingness to dive in and get the job done is essential

With UK schools under immense financial pressure, Zen Educate is providing a smarter approach to education staffing. Recruitment in schools often relies on inefficient and expensive practices. Zen Educate is focused on tackling the pain points in the industry and providing a way to ensure schools get the best teachers possible.
It provides an online platform as an alternative to recruitment agencies, which is the only online platform accredited by the UK's Department of Education, helping schools fill staffing needs quickly and cost-effectively. Schools using the platform have reportedly saved 20-30% on supply cover costs.
On top of this, the company has also raised significant funding to support acquisitions in the UK and the US, plus the expansion of its operations and offering.
