Role
Who you are
- Advanced Javascript/TypeScript experience using both Node.js and React
- Some architectural experience
- Good understanding of building enterprise products, understanding considerations such as scalability, performance, security, testing
- Being able to speak to both technical and non-technical team members
- Any experience in cloud infrastructure, tooling and testing, ideally AWS
- Experience designing interactive applications
- Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL and ORM technologies as well as NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
- Experience with test-driven development
- Ability to document requirements and specifications
- Solid understanding of multi regional development such as timezones, tenancy and scaling
- Working in a fast startup environment
What the job involves
- Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
- Write well-designed, testable code
- Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
- Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
- Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
- Document and maintain software functionality
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
- Deploy and evaluate user feedback
- Comply with project plans and industry standards
- Ensure software is updated with latest features
- Delivering full stack features, that might be delivering features on your own or working with a Senior on more complex features
- Work with a cross-functional team including engineers, QA and data analyst to deliver the product/tech roadmap
- Improving your knowledge of architecture and complex technical decision making
- Upskilling across the stack; frontend, backend, architecture, testing, DevOps

Adopting a B2B2C model, Feedr attracts companies to sign up and subsidises the meals their staff order as an additional perk to boost employee well-being. This also forms part of the company’s talent recruitment and retention strategy.
In addition, Feedr differentiates itself by curating a set of tailored menus based on the user’s order history, aiming to elevate the quality of breakfast, lunch and dinner orders. On top of that, the restaurants and caterers Feedr works with are low-impact on the planet and quality-assured by the company.
Feedr started off operating in London, and after being acquired by Berlin company EatFirst, is ready to expand its service to new geographical areas. Though it's working against a crowded B2C market, Feedr is the only B2B2C model food provider, a low-admin, hassle-free alternative for busy companies. And its partnership with EatFirst will no doubt elevate its presence as it looks to expand.
