Software Development Team Lead, Lightspeed

• Proven experience leading a team of developers through successful software projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to convey technical information to a wide variety of audiences
• Solid understanding of development processes, testing, and CI/CD best practices
• Strong knowledge of Web application concerns: OAuth2, JWT, REST, OWASP
• Passion for learning new things and desire to improve continuously
• Solution-oriented and constructive mindset and ability to manage ambiguity
• If you have a Frontend Development background:
• Excellent knowledge of modern Web development and technologies
• Advanced skills in Typescript, React & Next.js
• Full-stack web development familiarity is a strong plus
• If you have a Backend Development background:
• Advanced skills in Java and Java ecosystem, Spring Framework & Spring Boot, Maven, JPA, Liquibase, etc
• Experience delivering horizontally scalable applications and microservices
• Experience with Docker & Kubernetes and running Java containers in the cloud

• We’re looking for an exceptional Team Lead to lead Hospitality’s flagship Consumer squad, a team focused on strengthening the relationship between our restaurant customers and their guests
• A critical piece of our strategy, you’ll help increase guests’ lifetime value and drive revenue for our restaurants by building consumer-facing tools that span the full lifecycle of the guest-restaurant relationship, from the moment a guest steps into a restaurant through to their subsequent retention, communication, and rewards
