- Proactive and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through
- Comfortable working independently and collaborating across distributed teams, maintaining strong communication and alignment throughout
What the job involves
- As a Recruiting Coordinator at Sage, you’ll play an essential role in helping build the teams that bring our mission to life
- Your primary focus will be supporting the full recruiting process—scheduling interviews, managing candidate communications, and ensuring every touchpoint reflects Sage’s values and commitment to an exceptional candidate experience
- You’ll partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to keep searches organized, timelines on track, and candidates informed
- This is a detail-oriented, high-impact role where success means creating a smooth, efficient, and welcoming hiring process that helps Sage attract and hire outstanding talent as we scale
- Coordinate and manage interview scheduling for a wide range of roles across teams and time zones, handling complex calendar logistics with accuracy, timeliness, and care
- Anticipate conflicts, communicate updates proactively, and ensure a seamless experience for both candidates and interviewers
- Support onsite and virtual interviews to ensure smooth day-of execution. Troubleshoot last-minute changes or scheduling issues quickly and professionally
- Serve as the main point of contact for candidates, delivering clear, prompt, and friendly communication that reflects Sage’s values and ensures a positive candidate experience from start to finish
- Collaborate closely with recruiters and hiring managers to organize interview loops, gather feedback, schedule debriefs, and keep hiring processes moving efficiently
- Maintain accurate data and documentation in the ATS (Greenhouse) and other recruiting tools, ensuring high-quality records that support reporting and process improvement
- Contribute to recruiting operations excellence by refining scheduling workflows, templates, and best practices
- Communicate thoughtfully with internal and external stakeholders, modeling professionalism, responsiveness, and collaboration in every interaction
Our take
In the event of an accident or fall, elder care facilities largely rely on outdated nurse call systems, which can mean residents wait longer than necessary to receive care or attention. Sage solves this problem by providing carers and institutions with a modern operating system.
Sage's caregiver app allows carers to identify patients in need of help, as well as providing tools for triage and the reviewing of care information. As one of the first companies to bring a data-driven approach to elder care in this way, Sage has received strong attention and raised impressive funding, most recently with the acquisition of $65M.
The age-tech market is growing steadily, and becoming more competitive, which means Sage will need to invest heavily in scaling its outreach in order to consolidate its progress. That said, it has established an early foothold which gives it a place to work from as it develops into the future.
