Role
Who you are
- This role will require you to live in either New York or Boston and will require frequent domestic and international travel
- 8+ years of experience supporting senior-level executives, C-suite support experience a plus!
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and build professional working relationships
- Self-starter with ability to pivot, work both independently and collaboratively, anticipate needs, and make sound decisions
- Agile and flexible in response to changing priorities and needs
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking abilities and exceptional communication and people skills
- Data-driven, process-oriented, and holds others and the organization to a high standard of excellence
- Tech savvy with strong proficiency in G-Suite (or similar platform) including creating and polishing presentation slides as needed
What the job involves
- This Executive Assistant will join Ōura’s Administration Team (The A-Team) to provide strategic support to several high-profile leaders within the organization
- Acting as a key business partner, you will need to understand departmental ecosystems to effectively support business priorities
- You will stay attuned to the team's dynamics, facilitate progress, and strategically execute initiatives
- You will be supporting execs in both US and Europe
- You will report directly to the Director of Administration
- Operate in various capacities, collaborating with executives and their respective teams to demonstrate excellence in administrative functions
- Support initiatives and facilitate the integration and prioritization of emerging priorities
- Proactively drive results by anticipating needs and taking initiative to address them effectively
- Plan and execute team on-sites and large meeting coordination
- Coordinate, participate in, and recap meetings across global time zones, driving meetings to ensure timing and alignment are met
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and other duties as required
- Manage domestic and international travel, including booking flights, accommodations, transportation, and reservations, as well as creating travel itineraries
- Handle highly confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion
- Ensure policies, processes, and procedures are followed, and suggest improvements as needed
Our take
As smart watches with health and wellbeing monitoring functions are now an everyday norm, Oura is offering similar wearable technology with its series of rings. It’s one of a number of companies gaining serious traction in the market, along with the likes of Circular and Movano.
The company gained an early profile after its collaboration with Gucci which created mainstream publicity and may have given it a leg up on the competition. With the smart ring market forecast to keep growing, Oura certainly finds itself in a promising position as it moves to build out its operations and refine the product.
The bottom line for Oura will be customer satisfaction and demand, which does make its mixed reviews so far a little troubling. That said, the announcement of its new "Circles" social feature, on top of an integration with InsideTracker and acquisition of "wave to pay" company Proxy, all look set to increase the functionality of the ring and could well win more consumers over.
