Strikingly rendered and expansive in its aims, Klang Games’ most recent outing is Seed, an ever-growing simulation that wants to revolutionise MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online) games. Utilising state-of-the-art AI technology and an evolving landscape, the company raised more than $40 million in Series C in 2022 alone and claims to be envisioning possible paths to sustainable futures through its gameplay.
Whilst MMOs are a dime a dozen, Seed’s USP is the fact that the world lives on after the player logs off, adding a layer of authentic simulation to proceedings. With a new co-CEO from EA Games and an expanding presence through podcast series, Klang Games is making the right moves to infiltrate pop culture, even though Seed is yet to be released.
Klang Games plans to use its most recent round of funding to expand its staff and further develop the backend and tech side of its ambitious game.
