Role
Who you are
- 5+ years in Sales/Solutions Engineering, ideally within a technology or SaaS environment
- Has extensive expertise in SIP/Telephony systems ideally 3 - 5 years of experience
- In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and API integrations
- Capable of discussing designs and implementing complex telecommunication solutions to ensure a proper understanding of operational efficiency and seamless integration with existing infrastructure
- The ideal candidate will have proven experience with SIP trunking solutions, designing IVR systems, and integrating VoIP technologies with enterprise-level Unified Communications platforms
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical projects and lead technical strategy in sales engagements
- Strong ability to foresee potential risks in project plans and sales strategies, with a proven track record of developing effective mitigation tactics
- Exceptional communication skills, with a knack for presenting technical information to various stakeholders clearly and persuasively
- Proven success in fostering collaboration across multiple departments and effectively managing stakeholder relationships
- Deep understanding of the industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities, with the ability to translate this knowledge into actionable sales strategies

- This role involves engaging with some of the world's most sophisticated enterprises and guiding them through their digital transformation journeys with Glia's solutions
- This position serves as the technical expert supporting prospects from initial engagement through to successful final sales. The role offers a dynamic mix of technical sales, proof of concept support, and continual technical guidance, providing a varied set of daily activities with our prospects
- Handle complex technical challenges, leveraging the support of managers and teams
- Expert in API data integrations and proficient with Glia products
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to proactively address potential risks and minimize their impact on sales outcomes
- Delegate tasks appropriately, integrate technical needs into project planning, and choose the most effective project management strategies
- Navigate and resolve complex client issues, fostering collaboration across departments and managing communication challenges with diverse stakeholders
- Present complex information clearly and concisely during meetings, ensuring all communications are impactful and directly support business objectives
- Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, regularly contributing insights in meetings and strategic discussions
- Develop and maintain deep, personalized customer relationships, leveraging those to advance business objectives
- Able to utilize our entire library of stories and case studies to share knowledge and experiences across the Glia product set effectively

Our take
Relationships between credit unions and their members are essential in aiding the process of securing new customers, solving transaction disputes, and maintaining accounts. However, legacy computer systems and outdated communication channels, such as automated phone services, are preventing this.
Glia provides an integrated customer support platform for financial services that provides communication channels in the form of video banking, instant messaging, and voice chat. AI-assisted virtual assistants are also provided as part of the plan, providing prompts and suggestions to support staff based on the on-screen scenario.
The startup has reached unicorn status in 2022 with a valuation of $1 billion, and more than 250 banks, credit unions, insurance companies, and other financial services businesses currently use its tools. Its funding is being channelled into research and development to build more tools leveraging artificial intelligence - including an AI platform for financial institutions - and analytics solutions.
