Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred
- 4+ years of B2C marketing experience in member marketing, member engagement, lifecycle marketing, market operations, growth marketing, or similar role
- Experience from a high-growth start-up, marketing agency, and/or digital health tech company preferred
- Hands-on experience with cross-channel marketing platforms, preferably Iterable
- Tactical execution of email, segment, and campaign builds
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS for basic email template customization
- Basic design experience for marketing collateral (e.g., Google Slides, Figma)
- Results-oriented strategic thinker & analytical problem solver who can break down ambiguous, complex problems, proactively identify opportunities, and translates vision into action - all while managing multiple complex initiatives simultaneously
- Bias for innovative & experimentation, constantly seeking to test new growth tactics and channels and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to bring new ideas to life
- A self-starter with the ability to “roll up your sleeves” and juggle multiple priorities & deadlines, doing whatever is necessary to ensure company success; thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment

What the job involves
- We are seeking an exceptional Growth Marketing Manager to join our Growth Marketing team and shape how we drive Garner adoption at our largest clients. This role will report to the VP of Growth Marketing
- We’re looking for a Growth Marketing Manager who will develop & optimize marketing campaigns (e.g., email, SMS, direct mail, creating customized marketing assets by customer) at our largest clients to drive member sign-ups and engagement with Garner + support marketing operations
- This position will work closely with the Customer Success and client teams to promote Garner to employees and support client retention. As Garner scales fast, you will also build scalable, automated, and efficient processes and tools (including building AI tools). This is a high-impact role at the heart of our growth engine - helping us engage more members, deliver a first-class member experience, and improve health outcomes at scale
- Develop and execute custom client marketing campaigns - cross-channel campaigns (eg email, SMS, direct mail, employer-sent communications on Garner) to drive client retention and member engagement
- Utilizing marketing automation tools (Iterable) to build, test, and optimize email/sms campaigns, ensuring optimal delivery and engagement
- Manage our marketing asset library - including updating Figma/Google Slide/Google Doc marketing asset templates for new product launches, client customizations, etc. and working with designers to develop new marketing collateral
- Analyzing campaign performance metrics and customer data to generate insights and recommendations for campaign optimization
- Owning key operational processes (eg working with print & swag vendors)
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with Customer Success, Product, Data & Reporting to support new product launches, custom client marketing initiatives, and optimize marketing performance
- Build Scalable Processes & AI tools: You will automate workflows and build AI tools for engagement marketing - making us more efficient (i.e. executing on automation & operational improvements) in how we work with stakeholders and how we track, strategize, and execute on member engagement

Garner Health creates digital services that allow patients to find a medical expert that fits their specific needs, whatever their insurance circumstances are.
The startup provides an app that analyses local health-insurance claims history through AI. This data is used to recommend local medical professionals that will work with a patient's circumstances whilst providing direct communication channels for liaising. This helps patients to identify the highest-quality doctors and helps doctors improve how they practice medicine.
Despite other companies providing similar bespoke healthcare services, Garner Health shows a cutting edge by partnering with patient employers. This provides the financial incentive that employers must cover all or a portion of medical expenses, making healthcare financially accessible for all involved. The company has good funding at its back, and back in 2022 partnered with Marathon Health towards reducing the inefficiencies of specialty referrals.
